“Stopford’s PhD Technologist, Jayan Suthar, attended the H2FC Supergen Hub Research Conference at University of St Andrews on the 8th & 9th of June. Jayan gave a poster presentation on the application of Stopford’s Plasmergy technology for the generation of hydrogen from solid waste.
Transition to a hydrogen-based economy is believed to be a critical step in achieving net zero by 2050. Whilst grey hydrogen, derived from natural gas, is the most common form at present, Plasmergy presents a unique opportunity to shift towards green hydrogen generation whilst simultaneously facilitating sustainable waste management practices.
The H2FC Supergen Hub Research Conference brings together hydrogen and fuel cell researchers to discuss the latest topics in the field”.
