Following a number of years working with the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) in developing the skills and capabilities of our employees, we are pleased to be able to announce that Stopford has now signed up to the ECITB Skills and Training Charter indicating our continued commitment to investing in the training and development required now, and for the future of our business. On Thursday, 10th September, Prith received the ECITB Skills and Training Charter Commitment Award on behalf of Stopford as an acknowledgement of our training and development investment.
The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board provides professional advice, information, skills development and qualifications to help individuals within engineering construction succeed in their chosen careers. Working closely with industry employers, their training programmes and Vocational Qualifications guarantee competence in practical craft and technician occupations as well as the technical, management supervisory, design and project management skills.
The Skills Charter is to encourage both companies and clients in engineering construction to put the skills shortage at the top of their agenda and Stopford are very proud to be involved and to have signed this pledge.
