Terry Brownhill, Waste and Energy Consultant at Stopford, along with Stopford’s Managing Director Prith Rajendran & Director of Research & Environment Ben Herbert, will be attending the UK AD Biogas and World Biogas Expo 2017 at Birmingham’s NEC on the 5th and 6th of July. Terry, who is a founding member and former board director of ADBA, will be chairing 2 sessions at the trade show.
Firstly, Terry will chair an internal meeting set up to review the progress of the revised Practical Guide to AD, the original of which was published by ADBA almost 4 years ago. The Guide is the definitive book on AD and is widely used as a key reference document by the industry and stakeholders who provide support services to the sector. Terry was instrumental in developing the first edition of the Practical Guide to AD.
Secondly, Terry will be chairing a conference session relating to improving the Health and Safety Culture across the AD sector on the 6th of July in the Green Seminar Room. This session highlights that safety and developing a strong safety culture is paramount across this emerging industry and needs to continually be given the highest priority.
Last year was the first time UK AD Biogas had catered for an international audience with speakers and delegations from the USA, Canada, China, Italy, New Zealand, India, Brazil and Malaysia to name but a few.
